Some people are meant not be just a good person........but a great friend, amazing spirit, helpers even at their own cost, Such people are not fit for this place.....coz they deserve something better much better than what this world could offer....
Venkat Kantabhukta Shashank, but much know as Sashi or Kauwa.............was one such soul.
As from one of his last facebook posts he writes:
.............."have gone mad to travel 12 hrs during day to reach Hyderabad from Bangalore all alone....... wish i get a nice company.... please god sirf ek baar...... u knw wat i mean ;)"...............
Well congrats Shashi ......... God heard you! And we all hope that you really have the best company that we mortals could have never provide you. The instant memories that anyone could have of Shashank is a lean thin khattu....with a big smile and ready to work his heart out for you...all you need to do is let him know. He was an exceptionally good graphics designer, had knowledge of a much wider range of software than a normal Architect. But what made him more special than the rest of the lot was, he was a person with a lot of warmth, and almost negative ego. During his stay in the college, BIT Mesra, he made innumerable friends from all departments.
One of my most loving seniors of all time, Shashi was an exceptional wicket-keeper. His flying catches behind the wicket made him earn the title of 'Kauwa'.....
I am writing this piece as a tribute to a great man, an ever-helping senior and a very good and close friend of behalf of all of his juniors, whom he loved and helped so much and who love and will always love him forever.
Shashank, we all pray to God that may you find eternal peace and real nice company up there....and watch us from top, guide us through difficulty like you always did.......coz you just can not end like this for us. You will always live in out heart and minds, and every good action that we'll do will remind us of you. The legacy that you have left behind is only of hope, joys help and goodness for others.
We love you Shashank and will pray that your life inspires others of that paramount of ever-lasting goodness that you were. May you have a joyous journey to the other world.
Amen.
