Christmas nostalgia

Christmas along with all the good things in life, captures a message in its soul. A message of true bonding that we share among ourselves. Because in Christmas no one can be left alone, not even the darkness.

Christmas, has always been that special time of year for me, during which year after year...my life has thrown new surprises, new bondings, new gifts at me.

A decade ago... it was this time for which we used to practice Christmas hymns to perfection (sorry if I forgot to mention that my being an all boys school... Christmas and Founder's Day were the only time of the year when we use to have a good look at the most amazing creation of Almighty....girls). Yes indeed those were the days... At one side of the chapel were us (the boys' choir) and the other side was occupied by the girls' choir from the girls school and together we were La Martiniere College Choir. It was a time when certain items were frequently passed on from one place to another inside the chapel... (and Hymn books were not the only thing).

The more I think about that chapel and that pipe organ of ours, the more I miss them...... and the 10 years of my life I spent there. So thats why every Christmas time my lips seem to go in auto-pilot mode and those years of practice in the chapel return to my memories filling it with nostalgia and hums...........
